Abstract: |
Taking a 80 m high slope in a local waste dump with one step as example, using finite element method for saturated-unsaturated, research on the change law of transient seepage field during the raining process and some times after rain was conducted, and the stability of high step in waste dump with the duration of raining time was analyzed. Results indicated that rain processes rendered the major impact to the seepage and stability of slope surface area of the waste dump slope. Slope instability was controlled by shallow sliding failure on the condition of rain. This study can provide reference for research and design of similar extra high slope in waste dump with one step on the condition of rain. |
