Abstract:
Water hole blasting is mainly processed by emulsion explosives, with high blasting cost. Considering the economical practicability of the ammonium explosive, test of the bagged ammonium explosives in the water hole was attempted. The test samples were divided into group A and group B. Ammonium oil and ore mass ratio was determined to be 2.9︰1. The sealing method was strengthened by analyzing the sealing performance at the ground station and the construction site. On this basis, the charging efficiency in the water hole was measured to meet the requirements of normal construction efficiency at the site. Taking five water holes in a certain area of Dabaoshan open-pit mine as the engineering background, field test of bagged ammonium explosives was conducted. Results indicated that the single consumption of explosives was reduced, but the driving phenomenon was not obvious, and the blasting effect failed to achieve the expected effect, but it was an effective attempt to blast water hole by ammonium oil.
