Abstract:
The studied area is located in the northern flank of the Dabashan tectonic belt of the north Qinling mountains, where the cambrian-ordovician Donghe formation is composed of vanadium deposits. The ore-bearing lithology is carbonaceous silica sericite schist and the ore body is controlled by horizon and F1 fault. Based on the analysis of vanadium occurrence status, the main vanadium bearing minerals are sericite and vermiculite. Vanadium was mainly in mica, accounting for 75.60%, following by vanadium in ferric oxide and clay minerals accounting for 21.76%, vanadium in refractory silicate was very little, accounting for 2.64%. The vanadium in the study area is given priority to with low vanadium, accounted for 60.97%; Three valence vanadium 20.44%, tetravalent vanadium accounting for 40.53%. Ziyang vanadium deposit is a newly discovered medium-sized vanadium deposit in southern Shaanxi province in recent years. This paper has a guiding significance for the exploration and development of vanadium ore of Cambrian black rock series in Ankang-Shangluo area of south Qinling mountains.
