Abstract:
The Baitu lead deposit in Luanchuan County, Henan Province is located on the southern margin of the North China Platform and the Ma Chaoying fault in the NWW direction. The crystalline basement is composed of the Taihua Group. The Middle Proterozoic Xiong'er Group and Anshan Rock are not integrated on the Taihua Group. In the late stage, the shallow sea-phase carbonate rock of the Guandaokou Group was deposited. The ore body is produced in the secondary fault zone of the carbonate rock, which is vein-like and layer-like. The genetic types of the deposits were summarized: the complex tectonic evolution of the rift valleys formed the Ma Chaoying fault zone and the shallow east-west shallow dolomite in the area, and the hydrothermal fluid invaded along the basement fault and fissure channel in the Yanshanian regional extrusion environment, Lead activation and migration in the upwelling and dolomite formed ore-bearing hydrothermal fluids, which were rich in minerals at favorable locations, and were generally continental volcanic-type lead deposits restricted by carbonate rocks.
