Abstract:
Nanjing Qixiashan lead-zinc mine adopts the overhand slice stopping and filing mining method. As the depth of mining increasing, the stress concentration of the roof and hanging wall in stope is obvious, which causes the roof caving. In order to improve the safety of mining operation and recovery rate of mineral resources, the panel overhand drift with stair-stepping arrangement and filing mining method is adopted. A panel consists of several stopes. The stopping sequence is from the bottom to the top with drifts which are divided into phases I and II in slices. The phases I drifts are ahead of the phases II drifts, which forms stair-stepping appearance. Each drift is used for stopping and filling which is no need to roof-contacted fill. A stope can be divided into several drifts to mining and filling. In order to effectively control the collapse of filling bodies in Phase I drifts during the Phase II drifts mining, a mining scheme with leaving trapezoidal pillar or continuous strip-shaped pillar is carried out, which ensures the safety of the mining operations. The application research shows that the comprehensive production capacity of the stope reaches 6452t/ month, the recovery rate reaches 87.1%, the dilution rate is less than 3%, and the production capacity fully meets the design requirements. The panel overhand drift with stair-stepping arrangement and filing mining methodl has the characteristics of large stope production capacity, high recovery rate, and low dilution rate. In addition, the mining method does not need to roof-contacted fill, which reduces the production process and improves the operation cycle efficiency.
