Abstract:
According to the field investigation of Yangliuchong new village to YinMachi section in LiangWang mountain area,83 joints are measured and collected from no.1 fault to no.5 fault. The statistical analysis of the characteristics of the joint distribution is carried out by using the statistical methods such as the polar point density map, the trend rose map and the inclination distribution histogram. It can be seen from the density and strike diagram of the joint pole that there are four joints set in the area. The first group that trend is 10 to 30 degrees and dip is 18 to 63 degrees; in second group the trend is 80 -120 degrees and dip is 45 degrees -75 degrees; in third group the trend is 120 degrees -175 degrees and dip is 30 -55 degrees; in fourth group the trend is 175-230 degrees and dip is 40 -80 degrees. According to the statistical results of joints, the third group of joints are most developed, accounting for 44%, and the first group and the second group are senior, accounting for 18% respectively, and the fourth group is the least, accounting for about 13%. From the results of joint spatial distribution, it can be concluded that the genesis of joints in this area is closely related to the spatial distribution of the regional north-east trending faults. Through the study of joints and fault tectonics in this area, it provides reference for the analysis of tectonic evolution and the output change of ore body space in this area.
