Abstract:
In order to the feasibility of the small sample replacing the large sample, standard samples having a diameter of 5 cm, 10 cm in length were made from hanging wall of the III-1 ore body after drilling at Kangjiawan Lead, Zink and Gold Mine. A lot of uniaxial compressive and tensile tests were carried on by RMT-150B servo-controlled testing systems. The abnormal values of reliability index on small sample were determined by using Grubbs method and the mean reliability index was proposed. Then, the mean reliability indices corresponding to the numbers of samples were calculated by random sampling. Meanwhile, the relationship curves of the numbers of samples taken and the absolute values of relative error on reliability index were plotted and gave the fitting formula by carrying out non-linear analyses. Based on experimental analysis of large samples and data of random sampling on small sample, the results shows the samples cannot be less than 10 and it is of theoretical significance to study the small sample reliability underground chamber.
