Abstract:
      A valley type tailings pond design example on improving the utilization ratio of storage capacity is introduced, ore drawing mode optimization is carried out in the two regions, that is, in front of the main dam and at the end of tailings pond, which can maximally improve the utilization ratio of storage capacity, increase the volume of tailings storage, and extend the service life of the tailings pond. On the basis of this project, this paper presents suitable terrain condition of the drawing mode optimization techniques, and analyzes technical key points about the flat stacking ore drawing method, the underwater ore drawing method on both sides of tailings pond, and the branch gully ore drawing method.
