Abstract:
Liwu Cu-Zn ore filed is a typical but unique one of the large number of Cu-ploymetallic ore filed in the western margin of Yangtze Plateform. Liwu Copper Deposit has been explored more than 50 years since 1958, and gradually went into the phase of the crisis mines. This paper focuses on Liwu Copper Deposit by summarizing the former research in the area, following the guidance of modern metallogenic and ore field structure theory. Based on the study about ore-controlling structure, this paper discusses in depth the relationship between ore-controlling construction and mineralization, dividing ore-controlling structure in Liwu Cu-Zn ore filed into three levels: antiformal structure, annular detachment fault, schistosity structure. The paper analyzes the mineralization geological background, geologic ore-controlling conditions, ore-forming factors and regularities of Liwu Cu-Zn ore filed. Based on that, the metallogenic model is established. The concealed ore body has also been predicted.
