| Abstract: |
| A copper and nickel mine is a world-class large Cu-Ni deposits, which is designed for open pit mining that the general volume of mining and stripping up to 740 million tons and the highest slope up to 645 m. For the large-scale deep open pit mine, the paper uses short stage mining, combined benchs and Inclined strips operation, which effectively delay the stripping peak, reduce the infrastructure stripping quantity and initial production stripping ratio, cut down the investment and initial mining costs, and the economic efficiency is improved significantly. |
